Afterword

Me in repose amongst my ebook cds. Taken by the photographer of Manila Standard when they featured my launch of Way of Design CD. Circa 1999 The final stage in the caterpillar's metamorphosis is very critical. To burst open from its cocoon, the butterfly must have enough strength. Only then can it become colorful and fly freely.

My ideal man

This authorship thrusts me to a newer vista in my creative journey. Writing this on-line book was a "returning" process. It takes certain courage and humility to bare one's soul, but this has fortified and uplifted my spirit.

I look forward to the coming years with wonder and submission to the inevitable changes. As I approach the final chapters of my life, the butterfly again fleets into my mind.

Chuang Tzu, the fourth century BC mystic, once dreamt he was a butterfly happily flirting with flowers and sipping their nectar. When he woke up, he was not sure whether he was the butterfly dreaming as man, or himself dreaming as butterfly.
