I constructed a carpeted ledge around the gallery for seating and putting objects on display. This allows for a smooth flow in the gallery. In this arrangement, I grouped related objects by color and scale. A big silk floral arrangement in a blue ceramic jar, harmonizes with Chinese painting of pheasants by Qian Songyan. Balancing the floral arrangement is a modern "sculpture" (actually a Japanese moribana container which I converted to a free standing object) with greenish patina that echoes the colors in the painting. An antique wooden recumbent goat from Thailand completes the vignette.
