The tall ginseng glass jar on a raw concrete block balances the height of the other elements in the room. For stability, I filled the glass container with marbles and glass beads. Material used are dried hydrangea, timothy, sea lavander, peppercorns, red oak and eucalyptus leaves. The dripping burgandy amaranthus highlights this free-style arrangement built layer by layer without sticking them to a foam or sand. This style is tricky but the effect is casual and bouquet-like.

I made this arrangement for a friend's apartment in San Francisco, USA. The dark mauve seen in the upholstery and in the framed collage behind the sofa is echoed in the arrangement. To brigthen up the room, I used vivid pink hydrangeas, fucia amaranthus and cinnamon eucalyptus. Burgundy red oak leaves serve as filler in a basic black ceramic container.
