A Japanese antique collector residing in the Peak, H.K. asked me to make an arrangement for her ancient Chinese jar. The position of the arrangement behind the white sofa creates a statement. While the arrangement is multi-colored, they are very muted in tone. I used a lot of blues to echoe the blue and white porcelains in the living room. The scale of the arrangement makes it ultra luxurious.

The narrow mouth of the mei ping vase makes it perfect for silk arrangements. In this arrangement, the bluish glaze of the mei ping vase underlines the fine texture of the small white flowers that are contrasted by angel's trumphet. The pale peach in some of the trumphet on top breaks the monotony of white.
