It is not uncommon in small condominiums to have windows looking into the adjacent neighbor. To obscure this living room from its neighbor, I made a large arrangement of mauves and brown in different textures. It is dense but not heavy looking. The visually uninteresting mini blinds serve as a good background. Posed behind the built-in beige banquette, the overhead and cascading flowers give the seater a delightful feeling.

The large silk flower arrangement in a blue ceramic jar on a Chinese stand seats atop a display ledge. It also hides the speakers above and behind it. The blue ceramic bowls matches the jar to give color to a mute tablescape of old and new stonewares, ancient Khmer and Thai buddhist icons. It measures 55" high including the stand and has a breadth of 48".
