The HK$50 card is presented in a "fortune pouch" that includes delicate Chinese paper cutouts in one of several designs symbolizing good luck and prosperity for the coming year. Hello Phonecards, First Remote-Memory Issue
In November 1994, HK Telecom launched a new type of card called "Hello Phonecards" which has a remote memory. These phonecards can be used in any telephone without the need of cardphones. For this inaugural issue, the graphics spells "hello" in English, Pilipino and Chinese. The cards in values of HK$100, $200 and $300 are sealed inside paper envelops and cannot be appreciated without taking them out. Expiry date is 10/09/96. Quantities unknown. The Complete Picture Pack
First Hello Phonecard Pack issued December 1994 to mark the opening of the first Phonecard Center in Hermes House, Hongkong Telecom Service Center, Tsimshatsui. During the opening, over 300 phonecards were exhibited. The premium set of four Hello Phonecards with HK$200 value each, forms a puzzle image to represent HK Telecom's ongoing achievements of meeting business and personal communication needs.
