LOOK GLADIOL!

With their princely air and long stem, gladioli are often considered too grand to use in anything but stately, tall arrangements, but gladioli can be tamed. Cut their stems to create arrangements with masses of delicate colors, or let the beautiful blooms take the spotlight by placing single flowers in tiny vases.

Separate the flowers from the stems and arrange them in a shallow dish. Alternatively, The long stems with leaves and buds can be bunched together to stand as a centerpiece. When looking for gladioli, try to look for the most unusual colors, shocking pinks, deep reds, bright yellow, orange. Gladioli look best on their own in an arrangement. Avoid mixing them with other flowers.
